Janean & Brendan | Wade Oval Lagoon Engagement

I met Janean and Brendan at the Cleveland Art Museum the morning after a day of torrential rain (remember this wedding??). It was like a new place. The sun was out, the birds were singing. That was lucky for us because Janean and Brendan have been long distance for awhile now and coordinating schedules was a feat in and of itself. Brendan is finishing up med school and Janean has an awesome job in downtown Cleveland. And once they get married this June? The long distance will officially be over. Forever!

Film Mini Shoot #3 | Katie & Mason

Katie and Mason are one of my 2014 couples, and from the very beginning I knew that we shared a love of film photography. They were the first people I asked to help me explore film with a mini shoot, and I'm SO glad we got to squeeze this little engagement session in. :) They definitely speak my language and make me so grateful for this little job I've created for myself. I can't wait until August, you two!

Wade Oval is always beautiful, but I especially love it on film. The colors are just unreal! And Katie and Mason are so sweet with each other.

This has got to be my favorite place to shoot in Cleveland.
